LD2 is a maritime biplane that became operational in 1914. After they became obsolete in the German Navy the LD2s were sent to Turkey as military aid, and they were deployed in Izmir. A total of six LD2s were deployed within the Turkish armed forces in January 1916 but they were all crashed by the end of 1917.
